Buffalo Springfield is the debut studio album by the folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield, formed in early 1966 as a congregation of Canadian-American singer-songwriters who publish their songs under this brand. Among them, the famous Neil Young. This first album was met with positive reception when released, and although the debut wasn't an immediate commercial blockbuster, it laid the foundation for the California folk-rock and country-rock movement, influencing acts like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Poco.
