Dirty Water (2026 Reissue)
More Info
Elemental Records and Universal Music (UMG) present this special edition 180g vinyl. The first studio album from LA The Standells' combo, Dirty Water, was released by Capitol Tower's sub-label in June 1966. Recorded during a tour of the band in a session lasting only two days, the LP takes its name from the eponymous song that, along with its B-side ("Rari"), had been released as a single. Typically compared to another band also angelin from the same scene (the Sky Saxon Seeds), the Standells had more commercial success than their compatriots, it was not for nothing that Dirty Water was the band's best-selling LP, reaching number 52 on the Billboard charts and #39 on Cashbox.
