With this new release, The Voidz continue to cultivate their taste for dissonance and surprise. The EP is driven by glistening synths that shimmer against sharp post-punk rhythms, while Julian Casablancas’s voice, filtered through Auto-Tune, mutates into something between a human confession and an otherworldly signal. The atmosphere is at once nostalgic and futuristic, drawing from the ghosts of New York rock history while imagining a fractured tomorrow.
